I plan on being at the Key Largo meeting and speaking during public
comment--apparently there will be others concerned about this issue attending and
speaking also.
The complaint I keep hearing is that the Goliath Grouper are
"overpopulating" the South Florida area and eating all the snapper/grouper and lobster.
I am not aware of anywhere on the planet that has a problem with an over
abundance of grouper, nor have I seen any data indicating the decline in
snapper/grouper and lobster is directly related to the "over abundance" of
Goliath Grouper. Yet, these folks keep repeating the same complaint [...]
