Has anyone else noticed some potentially odd changes going on with lionfish
populations? I am starting to see them thin out in areas off the east
coast of Florida - not consistently, but very spotty - particularly in
deeper water (e.g., 70-110m). Some sites we have seen *zero* lionfish
where they used to be very abundant. For example, this past weekend we did
not see any on the submarine S-16 off Key West whereas this time last year
