I have been following pelagic Sargassum since last May as I was first
informed of large amount of Sargassum off the coast of French Guyana.
Since, there has been many regular arrivals of Sargassum on exposed
beaches along the Lesser Antilles.

It seems that there is a new origin of pelagic Sargassum in the Western
Atlantic, off the coast of Brazil and French Guyana. The large amount of
Sargassum are very easily detectable by satellite images and can be
followed over time. [...]
